He had a passion for customer service and having previously purchased bamboo from Nick, knew about Nick's connection to great products. He developed relationships with vendors in the international supply chain, and before long, he was connecting local farmers with a variety of products they needed.Īfter working for 20 years to build up someone else's company, Pascual knew it was finally time to branch out. Nick was another young immigrant who was working in a grocery store when he realized that he could import the plastic bags that the store used at a reduced cost. Although he was grateful for his accomplishments, he had a dream that he had to pursue. Through hard work and determination to grow, Pascual made his way up the ranks. When a 15-year-old Pascual migrated to California from Mexico, he started his career working in the valley farms and then transitioned to a company that sold farm supplies. It all began with the seed of an idea - building a family-owned business to serve the agricultural community.
